Here are a couple of pretty much unknown San Francisco darkwave 12” singles from a band called Eyes Of God on the now non-existent Conceptual Communications / Conceptual Records label. The members were: Jennifer Hall (vocals), Lew Karchin, Lawrence Doyle and John Scampoli. Jennifer Hall's sultry Siouxsie Sioux-like vocals, dark keyboards, dark forceful basslines, jagged guitars and a sinister saxophone make for a great pair of singles. Not only notable for their dark, wicked and seductive sound the band really plays up the religious imagery and it seems as if Ms. Hall has something weighing on her soul that she wants to confess throughout.
