Control Room - Options EP

Released on 5 February 2021, Options is a 4-track post-punk and new wave EP by the synth band Control Room. Written and recorded during pandemic isolation, the 14-minute record is heavily inspired by early electronic pioneers like Tubeway Army, Wire, and Ultravox. The tracks—We've Been Here Before, Encounter, Are We All Alone, and Balance—blend gloomy, propulsive melodies with brooding vocals to explore themes of paranoia, isolation, and hopelessness. Retreat is a four-track synthpop and post-punk EP released by the Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based band Control Room on 9 October 2018.
