The Plague, released digitally in May 2022 and remastered for physical formats in March 2024, is the studio album that marked the triumphant return of British post-punk and electronic rock pioneers The Cassandra Complex. Coming after a 22-year recording hiatus since 2000's Wetware, the album was entirely conceived and recorded during the global COVID-19 lockdowns.
